Ideal Specialised Program:
This is a little different from work hardening, but is done prior to work conditioning. It is done within the course of post injury therapy and contains a certain work task being performed as a part of the routine therapy treatment. It is a different focus from post-injury therapy, as the focus is to get the worker into work shape to successfully return to their pre-injury job. The primary job functions are stimulated in the clinic and direct and indirect supervision from a therapist. The specialised program is an exemplary way to get a recovered patient back to work while reducing the potential for re-injury.
