  • Improves joint movement
  • Relieves pain
  • Corrects muscles
  • Improves circulation

Due to it’s vast array of functionality, kinesiotaping can be applied and used during and post activity, it is used with many amateur and pro-athlete. The range of sports which it is used, can range from: Golf, volley-ball, soccer, basketball, etc…

How is it used?

The tape will be applied by a NewGen Physical Therapy clinical staff member, they will advise you that the tape can be worn for several days if necessary, and the length of time it is to be worn will be decided on by the Physical Therapist. Some patients can tolerate the tape, one-day at a time whilst others are comfortable using it for a few days in a row.

Percentages of people who have Kinesiotaping done, find it very helpful and worthwhile, its only a competent of the rehabilitation process; and is not meant to be a replacement for a cast or a brace as recommended by your physician.
